Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is PDR?

PDR is paint less dent repair, a repair process in which we remove the dent in the panel without having to paint it or put Bondo on it the fill the dent.

2. What is conventional repair?

Conventional repair is a repair process in which a panel is either replaced and painted or filler is needed on dents to big to PDR in order to fully repair the panel.

3. What is your warranty?

Our warranty is on our PDR and that means that the dents we repair will not come back or cause any defects or issues with the vehicle’s integrity or mechanics.

4. Why is PDR better than Conventional?

PDR is preferred because it allows you to keep your OEM panel and OEM paint on the vehicle. There is no better paint job than the factory so we specialize in PDR to help keep the vehicle as original and factory as possible!

5. Will my insurance rates go up?

Filing a hail claim may or may not cause your insurance premium to increase, depending on factors like your insurer’s policies and state regulations. Insurance companies may raise your premium based on factors such as the frequency and type of your claim. However, if you have a history of high-dollar or frequent claims, your premium may be affected. Some states have laws that regulate how insurers can use claims history when setting premiums. Check with your insurer and review your policy to understand how filing a hail claim may affect your premium.

6. Do you do your own paint?

We have our own in-house painter and mobile paint trailer to ensure a perfect paint match and quality control over all of our customer’s vehicles.

7. How long does the process usually take?

Each claim is different based on the damage, how quickly insurance responds, and how readily available parts are but our usual turn around time is right at around a week (very quick most body shops are about 3-6 weeks for repair). We have had some in and out as quickly as 24 hours and some that take 2 weeks because of the amount of damage sustained.

8. Does a hail claim go on my Carfax?

No, a hail claim does not typically show up on Carfax. Carfax reports primarily include information related to a vehicle’s history, such as title information, accident history, and service records. While a hail damage claim could potentially affect the value of a vehicle, it is not typically included in a Carfax report. However, it is always a good idea to check with your insurance company or Carfax directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
